Part 3: Practicum/Field Experience
Complete the following based on information found under “Program and Course Resources” on the College of Education page in the Student Success Center. Make sure you are logged in prior to answering questions so you are able to access all content.

· Review the “Practicum/Field Experience Placement Guidelines” document in the Practicum/Field Experience section of the Student Success Center. In STEP 3, access and review the Practicum/Field Experience Overview module. Describe how you will introduce yourself to the potential classroom teacher and what important information you will provide to them upfront.
· For one of the courses in your program listed in the Practicum/Field Experience Fact Sheet, list the required hours and setting. Think about a potential site where you might complete the required hours and provide details on how that site will provide a valuable experience.
· After learning about the Participant Roles in the “Clinical Field Experience Handbook,” list the six participant roles. Describe how each might help you successfully complete your practicum/field experience requirements.
