Personal and Professional Transformations Discussions

Response 1.) My data concerns the number of registered students at my university for the Fall 2023 term (the data is from earlier in the year). The rows identify the relevant academic departments. Additional columns break down the registered students by application status, including accepted, accepted-lacking, and incomplete.
The data suggests that my department had a relatively high number of registered students at the time (compared to other departments). Additionally, the information notes that a large number of the students were considered incomplete at the time. This data would have been beneficial to identify the need for reaching out to these students to obtain the necessary information. In fact, the data shows that approximately half of the registered students at the time possessed incomplete status. The table shows a fairly high number of undecided students who could potentially be recruited by the School of Business.
Response 2.) Over the past few years, I have changed my mind concerning various subjects, including:
The effectiveness of masks in inhibiting the spread of viruses.
The necessity of continual COVID-19 booster shots for healthy individuals.
The scientific legitimacy of the Big Bag theory (based on the results of newer studies and new evidence from the James Webb telescope) (Lerner, 2022).
The definition and description of the human soul (BibleProject, n.d.).
The Christian hope of being a disembodied spirit in heaven (bodily resurrection).
When I change my mind, I do so relatively slowly, and the catalyst is often the receipt of new information. For example, my perceptions of the human soul changed after viewing a Biblical word study developed by the Bible Project (BibleProject, n.d.). That is, humans do not have a soul; we are a soul. When I first received this new information, I became uncommitted to both my old view of the topic and my potential new view. Then, over time, my perception gradually aligned with the new view of the subject. In the case of my perception of the human soul, my before mindset was based on a lack of information and general perceptions of the soul alluded to or discussed in church. My after mindset is still somewhat fragile and could be altered again based on new learnings.
Acts 9:1-30 describes the dramatic transformation of Saul, the persecutor of the Church, into Saul/Paul, the great evangelist (English Standard Version Bible, 2001). I have never experienced this type of transformation, with the exception of my original acceptance of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at a very young age. Concerning business insights, based on recent and fairly poor results from recruiting at high school college fairs, I may shift tactics to pursue classroom speaking opportunities. Business people must keep an open mind concerning our perceptions of best business practices.
