The purpose of this assignment is to understand the principles of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics and how they affect the delivery of drugs and over-the-counter medications.

What is the Cytochrome P450 System? Explain what an inducing agent is and what an inhibiting agent is. Give one drug example of each and explain its effect as an inducer or inhibitor.
To minimize harm in medication administration and maximize beneficial drug response, discuss:
the nurse’s role and legal responsibilities for medication administration.
how drug therapy must be adjusted to account for sources of individual variation, i.e. age, size, co-morbid conditions, pregnancy, and genetics.
Assignment Criteria:
A rationale for your answers must be supported by evidence from at least three (3) references. Use of APA Style (7th ed.) is required. This includes the paper format, references, and citations. Attention must also be given to spelling and grammar.
