Context

Sustainability means seeking to protect and enhance the environment in everything we do. Being the best, they can in meeting their customers’ needs and having a positive impact on the communities where they operate Grey Water System and making a financial return so they are economically viable long into the future.

1. Aim

The relatively clean wastewater from baths, sinks, washing machines, and other kitchen appliances should widely be collected and harvest around the home and garden and make its re-use minimal effort from households. The main focus should be the cost and complexity of retrofitting existing homes

2. Objectives

To reduce the amount of water each household needs down to 118L from 144L.
To understand the customer behaviour in order to implement the Grey Water System.
To create a positive impact on the communities by making a financial return so they are economically viable long into the future.
To re-use Greywater effectively for flushing purposes and watering plants.
3. Work Packages

Our project team consists of four members, so we break our work into smaller tasks to distribute the work for better progress.

KANAPARTHI ABHILASH – Project Manager of Team – effectively working towards the project outcomes like consumer behaviour understanding, Cost Analysis and the reduction of water usage to each household from 144L to 118L.

SURYA TEJA KOTLA – Communication Lead for Team Progress – Working effectively towards the communication aspects of the project, creating and scheduling meetings, Delivering the information to the other team members.

SAI PRANEETH and LOHIT ATTADA – Team Members – working towards the Risk Analysis of client and consumer aspects, Gathering required information for the project and some case studies related to it.

4. Deliverables

A Gantt chart created for the project to define its timeline and milestones.
A design presentation made for the clients to help them understand the project’s goals.
A budget plan has been created by implementing Grey Water Harvesting.
Risk Analysis has been created for the project, based on client and consumer considerations.

5. Key Milestones

Start and End dates for project.
Important Meetings and Presentations.
Showing the difference in the cost aspects before and after applying this system.
