The assignment asks you to write up a brief (500-word) essay that analyzes an art exhibit. Please note that an exhibit is a collection of art works organized under a certain topic within an art gallery. It is neither one single piece nor the entire gallery (unless the gallery is very small). If you have any questions about what an exhibit is please get in touch with me!

• Who curated the exhibit? What is their personal and social background? Why is this important in analyzing the exhibit?
