You should think about the questions as mini essay questions and carefully take your time drafting your response.
To receive full credit, your post should be at least 300 words (this is the minimum please aim for more) with correct grammar and spelling and you should give thoughtful responses to at least two of your classmates’ posts. Be sure to refer to course readings, your textbook, and outside resources to back up your points, please. In-text citations are required.
Most weeks have multiple boards with multiple questions per board and topic. Please be sure to read and carefully respond to each part of the question for full credit. One or two sentence responses will not suffice.
The initial post for all weekly discussions is due by Thursday, before Midnight.
Responses to at least 2 classmates’ posts per board are due by SATURDAY before Midnight.
Note: Week 4 has earlier deadlines – refer to Week 4’s page.
Also, you are encouraged and welcome to respond to responses as well.

Refer to chapter 6 and chapter 7 readings of your text as well as Week 4 Resources for some ideas.
Chapter 6 explains the Trouble with Too Much Grit, list one example from this chapter that stood out to you and explain why.
Identify disciplines and professions where you demonstrate Generalist “range” and competence.
After reading Chapter 7, now explore your “possible selves” and define two domains or areas where you need to improve and expand your “range” and generalist skill sets.
The initial response is due by Thursday, and two classmate responses are due by Saturday. Please refer to the Discussion Board Rules Forum and Weekly Descriptor for guidelines.
