EXPLORATION 1: CURRENT COURSES （USE COURSE MARKETING STRATEGY）

For this exploration, you might review the syllabi, notes, and assignments from the classes you’re enrolled in this term.
EXPLORATION 2: PASSIONS & INTERESTS
What are your hobbies? (These don’t have to be academic at all.) What topics and issues are you passionate about? In which topics and issues do you have even an inkling of an interest? (These topics / issues could be personal, academic, professional, cultural, political, etc.)
If you’re on social media, what type of accounts do you follow? Are you involved in (or interested in being involved in) any clubs or extracurricular activities? What types of shows or movies do you watch? How do you fill your time?
For this exploration, you might take a look at your social media accounts and browsing history. What sort of media are you looking at frequently?
EXPLORATION 3: YOU & THE WORLD
What are some current events in which you’ve taken a special interest? These can be local (e.g. your hometown), national (i.e., in the United States), global, or at any other scale (maybe you’re interested in outer space!). What are some current events or concepts that you haven’t fully understood but want to?
For this exploration, you might consider which news websites (if any) you browse semi-regularly. Which sections of the news are you most interested in (e.g., Arts & Culture, Sports, Politics, etc.)
EXPLORATION 4: NARROWING YOUR FOCUS
Look back over your responses to the previous three explorations. Are there one or two (or several) things you wrote about in these explorations that stand out to you as most important or interesting?
