Chapter 7 focused on strategies for managing stress and emotions in the workplace. One of the key takeaways is that we need to be cognizant of the positive and negative emotions that exist as they have an impact on how effectively and efficiently the work environment operates. Please watch the following video to help shape your response.
1.What are examples of positive emotions that are socially acceptable in the workplace? How would positive emotions impact the work environment?
2.What are examples of negative emotions that can be found in the workplace? How would negative emotions impact the work environment?
3.Provide a time in either work or school environment where you had either a positive or negative emotion. What impact did it have on the tasks you were assigned to complete?
4.After watching the video on “The cost of workplace stress” what are the takeaways?

1.Initial Posting: Carefully review the scenario and answer the prompt using the textbook and resources found in the learning resources before researching online. An initial posting should be 2 – 3 paragraphs in length. The posting is due by Tuesday at 11:59 PM EST.

Respond to at least two of your peers’ posts with a friendly comment, question, or a common interest you share. You should also substantively contribute to the discussion by replying to at least two of your peers by Thursday at 11:59 PM EST. Each response should be 1 – 2 paragraphs in length. Support your initial posts and response posts with scholarly sources cited in APA style.
3.Etiquette: Let’s maintain a respectful and collaborative environment. Be mindful of your language and tone. Constructive engagement is encouraged.
