Research Proposal Final Assignment Assignment: Overview Your duty is to produce a formal proposal of at least (1200-2000) words describing the research project you intend to pursue for the final report. Typically the proposal of the topics should be on hospitality tourism and recreation topics. Due Date: • Topic Heading and Introduction due: • Whole Assignment due: FINAL EXAM DATE Research Proposal, Word format: (1200 – 2000) + words; 1.5 spacing; separate title page including name, student number, title, and date; page numbers; in-text citations and works. Submission Format: Research Proposal will be submitted by Electronic posting to UZEBIM before deadline. Grading: This assignment is worth 25% of the overall class grade. PROPOSAL FORMAT AND APPEARANCE • Page Layout The paper must be size A4 and the left margin must be 3.0 cm, the right margin 2.5 cm while the top must be 3.5 cm and the bottom must be 3.0 cm wide. • Font and Type Size In order to maintain a certain standard the thesis text is written in Times New Roman font and the font size is 12-point. • Spacing The texts within the thesis must be 1.5 (one and a half) spaced. On the other hand, tables, long explanations, marginal notes, endnotes, bibliography, table and illustration notes can be written single-spaced. • Pagination Page numbers must be 10-point, placed at the bottom and center of the page and 3.0 cm from the edge. Recommended Reading & Research: Lecture Book, Chapter Slides, and Class Materials.
