Task:
WP’s 1, 2, and 3 have all built towards this final project, each one is meant to help you develop the skills used in writing a lengthy paper that can tackle a complex area of research. This final paper should articulate a strong argument in a thesis statement, defend your position with solid evidence, anticipate counterarguments, complicate simple or reductionist perspectives you found in your research, and illustrate how your findings deepen our understanding of your chosen research topic. The bulk of your paper should be made up by drawing clear connections between sources, critically analyzing them, and putting the arguments of others in conversation with your own.
