To calculate your percentages for the Time Tracking Worksheet, follow this formula: number of hours (N) out of the total number of hours in a week (168) is (N/168) * 100 = ____%. For example, if you sleep 7 hours a night, or 49 hours in a week, the calculation is (49/168 = .29). To convert the answer to % multiple by 100 – also known as moving the decimal point two places = 29%. So 29% of your week is spent sleeping. Your hours should, of course, add up to 24 and your percentages to 100.
