Sao Paulo
The Cold War dominated global politics from the end of World War II through the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. However, tensions still exist as former superpowers reluctantly come to terms with their diminishing global influence. These tensions manifest themselves as proxy wars, such as the Vietnam or Afghanistan conflicts, or in economic tensions heightened further by global climate shifts.
Brazil produces more than 30% of the worldwide coffee supply, but this could change in the next 20 years depending on climate change. Oil and gas production is another area of economic wealth that may be affected by climate change.
