This is FNCE90046 Treasury Management group assignment. The company our group was assigned to was Delta Air Lines, and I was responsible for writing the Overview of the Company. The requirements for this section are：
Perform an analysis of your allocated company’s business, the industry in which it operates and its financial performance between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2023, i.e. four years.
You must address the following as part of your analysis:
What is the main business of the allocated company?
Identify the key business and/or geographic segments and discuss how have they contributed
to profitability during the chosen four-year period.
Using financial ratios, perform an analysis of the firm’s liquidity, leverage, and profitability
To summarise, this section needs to be included:
1. what industry does the company belong to? What is its position in the industry and how competitive is it?
2. what are the main businesses
3. how did the company perform between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2023?
– Find the company’s revenue data for the period 20-23 and draw a line graph to analyse the trend of revenue changes.
– If there are different types of business, analyse the trend of contribution of each business to revenue and whether there is any significant change.
– If in different geographic segments, you need to analyse the contribution of each segment to the trend of revenue changes, there is no obvious change
4. Analyse the company’s liquidity, leverage, and profitability using financial ratio Find the relevant data from the annual report, calculate, tabulate, and analyse trends, are there any indicators that are performing very well or very poorly? For each of these, write a paragraph description. Write a one-paragraph description.
