Dear students 

Throughout the semester, we’ll learn step by step how to build a strategy for a company. Our project is about building a strategy for an organization hence, here’s how we’ll proceed:

1. Choose a company in Saudi Arabia and gather all relevant information about it.

2. Develop the company’s vision, mission, and core values.

3. Analyze internal and external factors using a SWOT matrix to identify strategic alternatives.

4. Formulate a strategy based on the identified alternatives.

5. Plan the implementation of the strategy and outline how progress will be monitored.

6. We’ll do all of the above gradually, following our class discussions. Whenever we finish talking about a part of the process in class, you’ll write it down for your project. Remember, we’re not copying the company’s existing strategy. Instead, we’re applying the process we learned in the class on actual cases and making our own. This approach helps us think critically and understand strategic management better.

The project must be completed by the end of the semester, and group presentations should be ready before the final week.
