The assessment for this module is the completion of a portfolio assignment comprising of 5,000 words, excluding reference list and items in an appendix. The portfolio will enable you to outline, evidence and critically comment upon the insights and experiences gained and outcomes achieved from critically engaging with all aspects of leading an evidence informed policy project, within a school or across schools.
The portfolio assignment write-up should cover four main areas of assessment as detailed in the four sections below (Assignment Structure). To achieve the higher grades it is expected you will include a critical perspective throughout the assignment by drawing upon a review of literature as indicated in the module reading list AND that which you identify as relevant from an independent review of literature. Please include a bibliography that is appropriately referenced. Any evidence you have should be presented in an Appendix. Your evidence may be drawn from reflexive comments (professional reflections) made in a reflective journal, professional resources and the research/data/information you may generated or collected, secondary sources of information such as student attainment data and other evidence as relevant.
