.Case Study 1: Workplace Diversity Training You are an experienced Human Resources manager in a multinational corporation. Two of your employees, Alex, who identifies as an Indigenous American, who is also Two-Spirit, and Rosa, a Latinx transgender woman, have raised concerns about the company’s culture and attitudes towards nonbinary gender, sexual, and racial identities. Their experiences range from enduring microaggressions to encountering ignorance and disrespect. This culture extends to top leadership, with the CEO incorrectly using pronouns and expressing reluctance to delve into gender-related topics. Rosa is unfairly burdened with representing all Latinx and transgender individuals, and Alex’s Two-Spirit identity is often mocked or dismissed. This dismissive culture is beginning to impact team cohesion, morale, and productivity. The staff’s lack of understanding and respect for diverse identities is creating a hostile work environment, which has caused employees like Rosa and Alex, along with others who are committed to DEI, to seek help from you so they can perform their best
