Instructions:
Software/App: Familiarize yourself with the Ocean Cleanup’s Plastic Tracker App. If you haven’t already, download and install the application.
Locations: For the purpose of this assignment, you will be analyzing the following cities:
Glasgow, UK
Hanoi, Vietnam
New Orleans, Louisiana
- Cape Town, South Africa
Lima, Peru
- Data Collection: For each city, input its location into the app and record the following data into one table:
Probability: Note down the likelihood that plastic from this location will reach the ocean.
Trajectory Distance: Record the approximate distance that plastic will travel before reaching its final destination in the ocean.
- Final Location: Document where the plastic will most likely end up in the ocean after traveling from the input location.
- Screenshots: For each location’s data:
- Capture a clear screenshot that shows the city’s name in the map, the probability of plastic reaching the ocean, the trajectory distance, and the final destination.
- Ensure that the relevant data is clearly visible and not obstructed in any way.
