I think that is a moral nightmare when the wrongfully accused are sentenced to death. The death penalty should be an absolute with no evidence that the person on trial can be innocent. I also can see how this sentence can be a deterrence for potential criminals. The ultimate decision in taking someone’s life is to have your life taken. Though this does not bring the person back, it can lead bring a bit of justice to the family. The only issue is that with an eye for an eye tactics, is that it leaves the world blind. This means that as a reflection, are we (the country) no better than the person we put to death?
