Graphic Design Question
Part 1:
This is going to be a weekly assignment, where I’d like for you to post an interesting design that you saw (either in person or online) and write a little paragraph about why you found it to be interesting. The visual can be an ad, a billboard, a poster, basically any kind of a designed image.

(Attachment 1) I found that this poster is so interesting that it is formed with the browns, reds, grays, and yellows that really stand out. The shapes are all over the place and all the shapes are placed to form a funky face. It’s also got a good circus mix too. It only contains certain colors and a clear message on the side, which is simple and eye-catching.
Part 2:
Create a detailed sketch of 2 abstracted compositions. Remember:
- black and white, only
- stay away from symmetry
- use shapes instead of lines
- pay attention to balance, negative and positive space, emphasis
Embed your images here and explain why you think your solutions work. Then comeback and comment on 2 friends. How can they improve their work?
