Foodtech startups are using robotics to improve aspects of the food industry. They are automating farming, harvesting, cooking, even deliveries. All of this is to improve efficiency in the food industry. In recent years, global food robotics has grown exponentially and this is because they are now using robots for all steps of the food process. These robots are doing tasks that relieves workers from doing repetitive work, and it lets them focus more on challenging tasks that take more focus and time. The robots can handle heavy loads with perfect precision and can work in the worst of conditions. Some foodtech startups include CAFEX, which serves hot dogs and beverages that is 100% automated. This can take orders serve the food and clean up. Bear Robots is another foodtech startup that can serve the customers and allows for the staff to work on other more important tasks at hand. These startups are great for society as it makes the food serving process not only easier but faster too. It is also helping these businesses by cutting down workload for the employees.

In this article it talks about decontaminating robots inside of the food industry. Decontaminating robots in the food industry plays a crucial role in maintaining food safety. They are designed to sanitize surfaces, equipment, and even food products using various methods such as steam, uv light, chemical disinfectants. This help reduce the risk of contamination and ensure the production of safe and hygienic food.They use advanced technologies to eliminate harmful microorganisms and keep our food safe. These robots are equipped with sensors and cameras to navigate through food processing facilities and identify areas that need cleaning. In the article it also tells us that robots help reduce contamination risk by reducing the number of times people touch it although the robots themselves also need to be decontaminated. There’s a company called JMP Solutions which help finds robotic solutions for applications of foods and beverages. Also they use high powered water to conduct a thorough cleanse at the end of each operating cycle.

The article then goes into how the correct POS system can aid in a restaurants yield management. It should include sections like category, base unit, unit item code, and item yield.
The article then finished with an explanation of a recipe report and what it should include. This would be tabs like “item code, item name, quantity, unit yield percentage, average pricing, and last price.” It then shows a picture example of what this system would look like on a POS system.
