These 2 capital markets are primary and secondary market. The primary market is the issuing organization and the secondary is the investors/ shareholders. The difference between these two markets is that the primary market securities are offered to public for the purpose of raising capital or funds and the secondary market is an equity trading avenue that is used for investors.As an economist one needs to see what is going on and can affect the economy. There for one needs to monitor trends and develop forecasts on wide variety of issues. These issues can be energy cost , inflation, interest rate, taxes, business cycle and etc. For example, we can take corona virus (COVID-19) and consider this an issue. This issue has become an considered a pandemic, which has resulted in closures of businesses and government jobs. How can this cause an issue? Simple, many businesses has slowed down and payments will continue for the business and if a business has a lot of debt one has to forecast for that lost and ways of trying to make up for it.
