For this essay, you are being asked to read Jean Twenge’s “Has the Smartphone Destroyed a Generation?” published in The Atlantic during September 2017. Once you’ve read Twenge’s article and identified her argument, you will then focus on at least three strategies that Twenge uses throughout her article. Once you’ve identified each strategy, you want to analyze how that appeals to either ethos, pathos, or logos.
