Some, unable to ambulate without help at home, some still in the same condition as they showed up in and because they are not critical they get discharged to follow up with their primary care provider’s who essentially do not have the means to evaluate them for their specialist issue and then the poor patient waits longer for a treatment plan and a referral to the specialist.
