This assignment will cover components of the urinary system and urinary physiology. You will investigate a diuretic and urinary system disease and apply the information learned in the course to the assignment.

Assignment Instructions
Part 1: Choose one diuretic and provide a description of how it works on the nephron. Include the part of the nephron that is affected as well as the mechanism of action (i.e., what does it do to the nephron to affect fluid volume?). Your description should include:
At least one diuretic.
A description of how the diuretic works.
Specific information regarding how the diuretic affects the nephron.
Side effects of the diuretic.
Part 2: Choose a urinary system disease and describe how your chosen disease affects either the structure or function of the kidneys. The description should include:
A urinary system disease.
Specific information about how the disease affects the structure or function of the urinary system.
Your report must be a minimum of 300 words.
All answers should be in your own words and typed neatly using appropriate grammar, spelling, punctuation, and APA style.
Include APA citations when necessary.
Must be submitted as a Word file.
Submit to your instructor by 11:59 PM on the date listed in the course schedule.

Do not include/rewrite the questions in the assignment.
Your submission must have a Turnitin similarity score of less than 20%. Remember you have 3 submissions before the due date to check your score.
Submissions greater than 20% will risk point deductions, and you may be reported to Administration for academic discipline.
