SULFUR
· Sulfur is two amino acids (methionine & cysteine) used to make/shape protein. Both amino acids are present in hair, skin, nails, where they assist these tissues strong and flexible. Sulfur exists in both food and water required by the body. “The body requires sulfate for the synthesis of many important sulfur-containing compounds.”
