This document includes tips and example sentences for you to consider as you begin to create an annotated bibliography comprised of the three peer-reviewed research articles you selected in the Week 1 assignment.
Create an APA-formatted reference for each source.
• Example: Doe, Jane, & Sample, Adam. (2022). Burnout among Boston-area hospital employees. The Journal of Hospital Studies, 12(3), 45–67.
For each source, write a brief annotation (approximately 150–200 words) in which you discuss the following:
• Sample description and size
• Geographical location of the study
o Example: The study enrolled a total of 345 health care workers from three separate university hospitals in the Boston metropolitan area.
• Research method (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods)
Example: A quantitative design approach was implemented in this study. The authors administered two surveys that sought to examine the relationship between nursing burnout and anxiety symptoms.
• Results/outcome of the study
• Legal or regulatory impact of the study
o Example: The findings showed a positive correlation between nursing burnout, low morale, and increased anxiety at all three hospital sites. In addition, the findings suggested an increase in hospital-acquired infections (HAI). This has direct regulatory implications as the authors discuss the link between HAI and increased costs within the hospital system.
