• Demonstrable application of political lobbying, advocacy in influencing change in a national context.

Please design your lobbying campaign, focussing on the following elements:

2. 10% The Context.
3. 5% Applicable law, policy, procedure, human rights, sustainable
Development Goals and rule of law.
4. 10% The Objectives
5. 10% Stakeholders
6. 5% Opportunities, Challenges and Obstacles
7. 10% Strategy. Call To Action. Message
8. 5% Resources Required.
9. 35% Implementation. Action, Plan and Execution
10. 5% Monitoring and Evaluation
Explanatory Notes:
1. The assessment will carry the allocated marks as above.
2. The topic is self-selected and your topic proposal must be submitted for
approval by email to your lecturer by Thursday, 26 October 2023
3. The grading of the assessment will be based on the knowledge and
application, focus and structure and analysis and reflection, not mere
