Bauer .(2020) argues that  in virtue ethics, the emphasis is on "being" rather than "doing," emphasizing the development of moral character and virtue in people. This strategy promotes the growth of virtues like honesty, compassion, courage, and wisdom that direct people's actions in a morally upright manner. Virtue ethics permits a more adaptable and situation-sensitive approach to ethical dilemmas in contrast to utilitarianism, which emphasizes outcomes, and Kantianism, which emphasizes strict moral rules.
