In this assignment, you will learn how to develop an effective speech outline. Creating an outline is critical to your success in crafting an effective speech. We will walk through the introduction, body, and conclusion step-by-step to help you prepare an outline.
Scenario
You have just received an email stating that you landed an interview for your dream job. The hiring manager asks you to prepare a 1-2 minute elevator pitch describing your professional background and experience for the potential employer during the job interview.

Preparation

If you choose to use the PlayPosit, we will work together to walk through each section of the outline step-by-step. We will create an attention-grabbing introduction, a detailed body, and a memorable conclusion.
- Once you are done with your assignment, submit the completed outline as a PDF or a Word document.
Reminder: If you quote, paraphrase, or summarize information from a published source, include an in-text citation and matching entry in a Source list at the end of your outline.
Requirements
Your activity will be graded according to the following criteria:
