Unit 6 Individual Mastery Video Presentation– CESIM SimFirm Performance Assessment
Prepare a narrated video presentation using presentation and recording software of your choice with accompanying speaker notes that critically assesses your company’s performance in the SimFirm simulation. Note that if a PowerPoint presentation is used, the slide notes feature should be used for speaker notes. Otherwise, speaker notes should be in a Microsoft Word document that clearly identifies the section of the presentation for which the speaker notes apply. Citations and references are required to support your performance assessment. The minimum requirement is a 10-minute presentation. Be sure to review the Presentation Grading Rubric carefully.
The presentation should include the following:
1. What type of strategy best describes the strategy employed? Why?
2. Perform a trend analysis of your company’s performance including several factors that you believe are critical to evaluating your company’s performance. Explain why you selected those factors and the outcome of your assessment. Be sure to include all rounds in your assessment.
3. Perform a SWOT analysis. Explain and support your assessment of the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats at the mid-point of the simulation. Are they different at the close of the simulation? Why or why not?
4. Project the business outlook for the company over the next two years with recommendations for a successful strategy.
5. Detail your lessons learned from the simulation. Include corrective actions that you would take as well as what you have learned both successes and failures.
