You will analyze the three videos located in the Readings and Resources for this assignment to gain insight into best practices in early childhood education by responding to reflection questions. To earn full points, you must fully and accurately address all four criteria for each video. Your responses need to be written carefully with attention to proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
You need to:
1. Clearly and accurately state the purpose of the video and give your opinion on the effectiveness of the video.
2. Describe the setting and the action of the video. (Include details such as where the video was made, the kind of early childhood program, was the location rural, suburban, or large city, and who was in the video and what was happening.
3. Describe something from the video that surprised you or made you think of something a little differently? If there was nothing that triggered a new thought, add additional information about the topic that was not in the video.
4. Give an example of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) that you observed in the video with a description of how you would apply it in the classroom.
