Filipinos are known as certified food lover; we love to eat different variety of food most especially affordable and quality food. PASTIL NG PAMANTASAN is a start-up business build by Aprilyn Coronado, Jericho Delan, Babylyn Eje, Mary Ann Ernia, Rose Ann Falla, Jhon Rey Mendoza and Patricia Olam. There are students from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo and there have experience in the business. Pastil ng Pamantasan is located at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo, Brgy. San Jose San Pablo City. It was established to distribute Filipino food, which is Chicken pastil, it’s mostly consumed by Filipinos. We want to distribute this kind of product because most Filipino especially the millennials usually eat this kind of food and the price is reasonable, so this comes to our mind to sell this kind of traditional food to achieved one of the goals of this organization, it is to reminisce and acknowledge the value of our own culture. Our company expects to capture the curiosity and the interest of Filipino food at a low cost to the customers. We ensure to pursue a friendly, favorable, and creative work environment, which respects diverse new is fair, and creative work environment, which respects diverse new ideas and hard work to inspire moments of optimism and happiness of our staff. Pastil ng Pamantasan is a well-known food tradition that originated in Quiapo Manila. Pastil has a great social impact on the market most especially in some area of Manila. This item is made of rice combined with distinctive sorts of dishes. We use banana leaf as our main packaging for our product not just to reminisce about our culture but also, we want to make it ecofriendly one.

Some of Pastil’s business concept especially in the Quiapo Manila area is very simple so we are aiming to improve the taste, packaging and create a different variety of dishes and flavor that will be popular with customers because nowadays it is one of the suitable for budget which is very affordable and delicious.

And the people who love Pinoy style. Because we know the feelings of our fellow students who save money and I’m sure Pastil ng Pamantasan will be a big help for them. It’s just like the survey when they tasted almost everyone who tasted the product what we have which is chicken pastil, they say it is affordable and delicious. And another thing is that pastil will also help those who can become sellers because we can supply to stores, or canteens. It will surely help other people who also want to earn.

Based on the analysis and evaluation of the target market, the proposed business is foreseeable to have great potential and generate accumulative profits during the lifetime of the business. There is a big possibility for this business to attain its success, if does, it will help the local economy through generating at least3 unemployed people. It is also possible to expand the business after 7 years of consistency achieving its target sales and creating much more labor for the needy citizens.

Entrepreneurs have built a business that is popular and well known in Quiapo Manila and we call it Pastil ng Pamantasan. And it’s made of chicken and rice wrapped in banana leaves and we thought of it because we can see and bring out the eco-friendly of us Filipinos and we thought of it for students and drivers who save money especially everyone loves of goods and Pastil is one of their alternative foods to save more money because there is rice or a side dish at a cheap price.

Filipinos in particular want to make difference in the world and people starting to realize that with all that we have been given, we have a responsibility to give back. Pastil ng Pamantasan has multiple markets it could enter after using Social Media Advertising and Promotion, Soft Opening as a selling and launching platform and with DTI assistance for further expansion. The researcher came up and arranged to locate their business to stand a physical store since we don’t have a building to implement our business. The area coverage of our business is in Sampaloc Lake San Pablo City because it is a first-class ideal Geographic segmentation due to the number of people who live here. The business aims to serve a high-quality product to future costumers living in San Pablo City. The people here in San Pablo City are giving more attention to different variety of food. Step-by-Step Procedures for fried rice
Shredded Chicken
In a pot add 2 liters of water, 1 tbsp Salt and 1 tbsp Black Pepper & 4 Laurel Leaves.
Add 1000g Chicken Breast Fillet.
Boil on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
Drain, let it cool down & shred the chicken.
Let’s Fry
In a fry pan pour ½ cup Oil
Add minced Garlic and minced Red Onion.
Fry until translucent then add 1000g shredded chicken and sauté.
Add ½ tbsp Black Pepper, ½ tbsp Turmeric & 2tbsp Sugar.
Add 4 tbsp soy sauce & sauté
Add 3tbcp vinegar & let it simmer
Add 2 tbsp margarine (optional)
Fry until chicken flakes are crispy
