Introduction
“You manage things, you lead people” (Hopper 1992) was the quote that I believe best represents my current thinking about leadership or management. James V. Downton created the word “transformational leadership” and since have collaborated with political biographer James MacGregor Burns to expand what the word truly means. Transformational leadership usually have four distinctive attribute. Those attributes are inspirational motivation, idealistic influence, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Inspirational motivation is leaders who motivates their team to commit to the organization’s vision The attributes of transformational leadership (the four I’s)
