Etiquette, manners, and cross cultural, or intercultural communication have become critical elements required for all International and Global Business executives, managers, and employees. As international, multinational, transnational, multi domestic, and global business continues to expand and bring people closer, the most important element of successful business outcomes may be the appreciation and respect for regional, country, and cultural differences – known as cultural diversity.
For this project, you will be creating a Smore Newsletter on a chosen country.
Create the Smore Newsletter
Go to https://www.smore.com/
Click the Login in button in the upper right corner.
Login using your Lenape Google credentials.
On the next screen, click Start a Newsletter and then Start from Scratch on the next screen.
Add the name of the country as the title and “Business Etiquette, Manners, & Culture” as the subtitle.
On the right side of the screen, choose a design as well as a background, color, and font.
You are now ready to start adding content to your newsletter.
Requirements for the Content in the Smore Newsletter
Go to http://guide.culturecrossing.net/index.php to help with the research. You will not see the map in the center because Lenape doesn’t have Adobe Flash. Instead, choose your country from the drop down menu on the left side of the screen.
You may need to do some additional research on your own.

Requirements for the Design of the Smore Newsletter
You must include the following in your newsletter:
Titles to break up the different sections/topics – 1 point each (total of 13 pts)
Informative text about different sections/topics – 2 pts each (total of 26 pts)
THE TEXT MUST BE IN YOU OWN WORDS. YOU WILL RECEIVE A ZERO IF YOU SIMPLY COPY AND PASTE FROM THE WEBSITE.
At least five pictures to enhance the newsletter – 5 pts
In addition to the pictures, you must include a gallery of three pictures
At least one video from YouTube about business etiquette in the country
Button that links to the website where you got the bulk of your research from – 3 pts
Creativity and design – 3 pts
Total points possible: 50
Turning in your project
When you are completed, click the Done Editing button.
On the next screen, click Copy or embed link.
Copy the direct link.
In Google Classroom, add the link to the assignment and submit for a grade. .
