Sustainability is a widely discussed concept that concerns preserving the environment for generations to come. Whether related to concerns over climate change, renewable energy, clean water, effective waste management, or more, sustainability is a goal that many organizations and individuals are currently hoping to achieve. In recent years, Fairleigh Dickinson University has seen a rising interest among university constituents, students, staff, and faculty alike, to embrace sustainability at the University. As a result, FDU is seeking to develop Sustainability Initiatives at its two New Jersey campuses that may be included in its Strategic Plan for 2021-2025.The Office of the University Provost is requesting concept papers from the campus community that will address and develop sustainability initiatives at either one or both of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s New Jersey Campuses.
