Examine the joint and separate effects of having physical chronic conditions and having conditions that affect mental health (as defined below) on the incidence of unplanned hospitalization in 2009. Assess for interaction on both the multiplicative and additive scales. Report your results in a table and explain your answer.
Physical chronic conditions are defined for this assignment as having a diagnosis of one or more of the following: heart failure, ischemic heart disease, stroke/TIA, chronic kidney disease, COPD
Conditions that affect mental health are defined for this assignment as having a diagnosis of one or more of the following: depression, Alzheimer’s or related disorder
