Vo/ But Eric Woodward’s foundation is not providing re-development plans for many other boarded up buildings. He says it’s not possible to re-develop at this time because of “costs and uncertainty”, and the need to relocate tenants in the shops that are still open. So many of the these derelict buildings aren’t going anywhere soon.
STREETERS: I am very much in support of getting rid of the boarded up buildings I think we’re probably at a point where we have to move forward.
STREETER: If I owned a business here, I’d be a little frustrated when you’ve got half the block especially at this end boarded up. Get on with it.
VO/ AS FOR THE NEW DEVELOPMENT PLANS, THE MAYOR SAYS NOTHING IS HAPPENING OVERNIGHT.
