Analyze the activity of moving from sitting to standing, and the reverse motion of moving from standing to sitting. Perform these activities and then analyze how the subject in Figures 1-5 performed those activities.
How does the position of the knee change?
What are the prime movers?
What types of muscle contractions are occurring? When? Why? Explain.
