Do you agree with Bob’s statement and the textbook’s portrayal that powerful groups in society (i.e., large corporations and wealthy individuals) lobby lawmakers to ensure that harmful behavior of the powerful (i.e., crime in the suites) is minimally criminalized, while crimes committed by the poor (i.e., crime in the streets) are maximally criminalized?
