As I have mentioned to Mr. Splain this is not my first time going to higher learning school, I had to attend school and passed the Florida state board to become a license Radiologic Technologist. I have been to the US Air Force I am well aware of what it is to follow chain of command. Before enrolled at NRI Institute I was attending South University which is a well-known school for Nursing. The only reason I left to be entangle in this mess because of the schedule was more convenient to stay at my job. I don’t believe the statement of not follow the chain of command to be accurate, there is no point in going to him when he supports his wife Elizabeth decision, the outcome would have been the same.When I mentioned my discontent of the HESI beingpart of the class to Elizabeth Stolkowsky, (she stated this is my school I do whatever I please), I mentioned this in the previous letter. I told her we needed to talk she stated if it’s about the HESI being part of the class don’t bother. At that moment I knew something had to be done I contacted both the COE and DIE. What is there to follow after Ms. Elizabeth statement about doing whatever she wants with the school. In the previous letter I stated Ms. Stolkowsky does not care about death previously, now I will elaborate. While attending NRI Institute my father passed away, I kept her up to date of what was happening. At that time I was taking Microbiology, I had a passing grade which was a B however I failed the class for not meeting attendance percentage. The minimum attendance was 70%, I had a between 66 and 67 percent I would provide proof but I am locked out of the site for nonpayment which is absurd. I had set up to appointment to discussed why she would want me to repeat the class, she did not show and sent Kris was very unprofessional. Kris could not answer any of my questions, all she said Elizabeth want me to repeat th class because I did not meet the deadline to bring the death certificate. I said to Kris I never spoke to her how did she give a deadline, did she talk to you about a deadline and to mention to me he replied no. I ended up repeating that class. During my meeting with Splain I explained everything to him kept on saying he was not aware of this. Ms. Elizabeth does not like students standing up to her for their rights I am the living proof of that. The fact that Sonia and Island denied knowing anything about the letter is rather lie, we would always hang out together in school even outside of the school to study. They were aware of the letter we would be complaining about the unfairness of the situation, they agreed for their name to be in the letter. Sonia and Island knew about the it they said they would send after the class is over, I sent the letter and forgot to remove their names from it. The names listed in the letter is a small portion of the class why not mention any other students from the class. The whole class would be complaining about anything they felt unpleasant but never say anything to her for fear of retaliation and being intimidated by her. She threatened that she would sue everyone listed in the letter, upon hearing that they decided to do anything she asked them to. If in fact the exit exam was part of a class since the school was founded why wasn’t in writing or be mentioned just like all other classes in the course program. They are trying to fulfill their hidden agendaThe HESI beingpart of a class was never conveyed to us until the last semester it came as a surprise, on the meeting I hadwith Mr. Splain my question for him was why wasn’t the exit exam listed in the course program and the program classes list as part of a class, he stated that not everything has to be listed I disagree because everything should have been in writing. I don’t see how this fair when he can chose to list some and leave some out. I reached out to former students they said they never heard exit exams as part of a class. They should not have wait the last minute to tell us bout the exit being part of the class. In fact I am repeating the class over, the only thing I do when in class is practice which I do at home using the Uworld I purchased. Please tell me how that benefits us when nothing listed in the syllabus was taught, is it really worth $1300 of my hard-earned money. They are well within their rights to charge for the hesi exams but price they pay for the test does not come close to $1300. This is came directly from the contract “The school reserves the right to make revision in the course of instructions. The revisions will be in effect after approval by the Florida Board of Nursing as well as the Commission of Independent Education”. That did not happen, Silande and Irana along with other students are not coming back to the school, this is a repeating cycle that happens to many students who reached their last semester. I understand you have different test version at your disposal, but state in the test version would be on hesi next generation is misleading. Since they have so many versions available taking the test when we are ready would not in any way compromise the integrity of the test. As for the internet they are aware of the internet issues why schedule everybody to take the test at the same time when clearly this could create a connection problem. The NCLEX is schedule when students are ready, why should it be any different for the exit. Schedule the exit whenever she feels like has not help at all, the results of the tests can attest to that. They are contradicting what their showed in writing.
