Since Piaget’s theory is already given in the sample you should choose another of the many developmental theories or learning theories we have studied, to include in the paper.
Developmental theories: Vygotsky’s theory is also on cognitive development but from a different perspective. You may choose to write about Vygotsky’s theory of cognitive development.
Learning theories: Gardner’s multiple intelligences theory, behavioral learning theories (include classical conditioning and operant conditioning), information processing theory, or constructivist learning theory.
The topics or concepts to be described must not be tied to the theory selected. In other words, select different topics/concepts that are not part of the theory you have selected to describe.
Grading Criteria
The Final Paper is a reflective narrative (approximately 7 pages) that consists of:
a cover page (name, class, UVI, Professor Tobias, and date) (5 points)
Description of one of the theories in addition to four of the topics/concepts you have learned in class (each one should be different from the theory and should be explained adequately and you should include or reference the page number in the textbook where the topics/concepts are described) (60 points)
a reflection on an example of some aspect of the theory and for each of the 4 topics/concepts (therefore you need to have 5 examples). The examples should show their practical relevance from what you’ve seen in your daily life (each example should be in the same section as the explanation of the topic/concept) (15 points)
in a minimum of 15 lines, describe your self-awareness of your own personal growth you’ve observed as a result of this course (15 points)
in a 15 lines, evaluate how this class has impacted you and prepared you for a teaching career (5 points)
