In this assignment you will “create” and “administer” a survey pertaining to the Persuasive Essay you will write for Unit Three.
Survey Requirements
The survey must relate to your Persuasive Essay’s topic.
The survey must consist of at least five questions.
The survey must be a “Rating Scale Survey” in which the respondents will answer the questions using a predetermined set of values. Example…Strongly Agree, Agree, Neutral, Somewhat Agree, Disagree.
You must administer your survey to at least five people (family, friends, whomever) either in person or by telephone.
In this assignment you will submit the “survey form” only(not the results). This means you will submit the questions asked in the survey and the answers participants will be allowed to select (not the answers actually given).

Note: You will report the results of your survey in the Persuasive Essay itself, NOT in this assignment. Yes, I am well aware that a sample of only five participants that have been asked only five questions has little or no scientific validity, but this is simply an assignment. It is an exercise designed to remind you that a “comprehensive survey” can be a valuable tool in a research paper.
To submit your survey open the word processing program on your computer and first create your Persuasive Essay Survey. You can use the format I provided in the above link or you can use another. The important thing is that you provide the Survey Questions and possible Answers and that the survey uses a Rating Scale.
Once completed ATTACH the word document with the survey into the assignment area.
Remember, if you are not using Microsoft Word, convert your document to a PDF following the instructions in the Welcome Unit.
