The islanders gladly maintained seaside mortars for this very reason, and they even made things out of shells Similar recognition exists for the unique slrills ofPacific Islanders, such as knitting. Despite the fact that I have undoubtedly not mater weaving. Dur grandma visited weaving and chattering villages, displaying the lrindness of the Pacific Elanders. in addition to the elderly women. Many of us continue to rely on weaving as a source of income. Based on my experiences and observations in Tonga, I believe that Pacific Islanders ma nage things in a way that always differentiates them from other civilizations. As for me, I believe that the environment in Tonga. where I was raised and educated, oontributed to the development of a calm and gentle disposition in me. I can say with certainty that these views will not prevent me from being who I am as a oonsequenoe ofgrowing up on the Pacific islands. no matter what the outcome. Without a doubt, regions oontinue to faoe challenges that threaten their ability to maintain strong moral standards, preserve their cultural identity. and resist outside interference. Societies are losing sight of their historical roots as a rauft of present civilization and progress. In regards to the future. I believe that the moralities instilled in Pacific islanders are overly potent in their tendency to vanish through certain deviations. The ability to feel sym pathy and oonoern for others is widely respected by many Ciceania’s. Communities have simply always operated together amicably and oooperatively, and they will endure to do so throughout the future. I have faith that future peers will find this wonderful lcingdom and its historical oonteart to hejust as interesting as I do. I feel privileged to he a member of this particular clan, and I loolt forward to learning more in the future about my cultures, our shared history, and our distinctive rituals.
