This will help you to relate to the idea of pain and understand that it truly is subjective and individual. Please be willing to share your experiences and know that everyone is completely unique when it comes to pain and responses and the rehabilitation process. Please describe a situation where you have experienced acute pain and then chronic pain (pain IaSting 3 months or more), if applicable. Include information about the initial mechanism of injury (how it happened), what the diagnosis was, and about your own rehabilitation process. There is definitely a component of the physical injury that needs to be discussed in your response, but you should also include any emotional or psychological impacts that the injury or rehabilitation had on you. What do you remember about the rehabilitation process: who was involved (doctor, PT/OT, AT, etc.), how long’ did it take you to return to normal activitylsport, and did you experience different types of pain over that time period (sharp, dull, burning, cramping, achy, stabbing, etc.)?
