3 Day Diet Analysis Project: Diet Analysis Printouts (Part I) 1. Write down everymgyou eat and drink (including water) for three days. Include vitamin and mineral supplements and special diet products such as protein powder and energy drinks, also include water. The days that you choose do not have to be consecutive but you do need to include 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day. The three days should be as close to normal as possible. Try to be as accurate as possible to ensure the best calculations and do not forget condiments, additions to foods, snacks, or beverages (example: milk on cereal, syrup on pancakes, mustard/mayo, etc.) For each food, beverage or supplement, include the following: – Name of food, beverage or supplement – Description (i.e. raw, baked, fried, brand name) – Exact amount (La. 8 ounces milk, 1/2 banana, 2 teaspoons mayonnaise, 400 IU Vitamin D). 2. Access the MasteringNutrition MyDietAnalys_is program and create a new profile. New textbooks will contain an internet pass code for the program with purchase that can be utilized from any computer with internet access. You can also purchase internet access to the program from the bookstore. 3. Enter your 3-day food journal following the directions provided with the program.
