Review the following steps for conducting a Performance Appraisal.  

·        1) Ask the employee to discuss what he/she contributed the best in terms of his/her objectives for the year.  

·        2) You, as the manager, add to the conversation what you fell the employee had done the best.

·        3) Ask the employee to discuss where he/she needs improvement.

·        4) You, as manager, add to the conversation where the employee needs to improve
