Look at the Introductions PowerPoint. The PowerPoint outlines FIVE introduction strategies. Choose TWO of those five strategies and use each strategy to create two different introduction paragraphs for your essay. The introduction paragraphs should introduce the topic and thesis that you submitted for Unit 8. You can use one of these introduction paragraphs for the essay that is due for Unit 10.
Guidelines:
Each introduction paragraph should be no less than 100 words and no more than 150 words in order to be in balance with the length of your essay.
The introduction paragraphs must follow one of the strategies in the PowerPoint, and each paragraph must use a different strategy. For example, one paragraph can use the quote strategy while the other paragraph can use the narrative illustration strategy.
Each introduction paragraph must include a clear thesis statement.
Edit for typos, spelling, grammar and sentence structure.
Make sure you have parenthetical citations for any quotes or paraphrases.
Avoid vague language.
