You are in a leadership role at a family Medicine Clinic, and due to a world -wide pandemic and the need to reduce the risk of transmission, telemedicine (use of information technologies and electronic communications to provide clinical services remotely to patients) has become a primary form for patients to access care. Telemedicine can also conserve scarce medical supplies and reduce strain on health care capacity and facilities while supporting continuity of care.

You have been tasked with preparing your team for this change. After discussing the task with the leadership team and the board, a decision has been made to focus on supporting the staff to adapt to the changes and new protocols in their day-to-day practice while supporting the use of telemedicine in the clinic.
