research may include obesity, maternal
mortality, infant mortality, diabetes, sexual
abuse, HIVIAIDS, STIs, interpersonal/domestic
violence, suicide, hypertension, air pollution,
noise pollution, childhood injuries,
asthma. bioterrorism. unwanted preanancies.
lead poisoning, lack of recycling, and lack of
food safety, among others.

factors, such as race. ethnicity, age, gender,
income level, religion, educational level, sexual
identity, marital status, geography, and many

may want to focus on may include, African-
Americans, Latino-Americans, members of the
LGBTQ|+ communities, pregnant women,
residents of Brooklyn, people living below the
poverty line, among many other types of
communities.)
