Project description
This paper must be submitted electronically to Turn-it-in the Assignments folder of the ULEARN course site. No hard copies needed. Due at the beginning of our final examination period for this class. Use the case study format below:
Section One – Introduction/Background – 15 points.
Briefly state the FACTS of the case. Answer the questions: Who? What? When? Where? How? and Why? Be concise and precise.
Approximate page length = 1-2 pages. Your paper will not be accepted if you copy and paste this material directly from the internet.

Section Two – EFE – 30 points.
Perform an EFE Chart. Your paper will not be accepted if you copy and paste this material directly from the internet.

Section Three – IFE – 30 points.
Perform an IFE Chart. Your paper will not be accepted if you copy and paste this material directly from the internet.

Section Four – Financial Analysis – 30 points.
Choose and run one appropriate ratio from each of the five categories of financial ratios as described in the text (liquidity, leverage, activity, profitability, growth). For each of the five chosen ratios:
• explain the purpose of the ratio, place the numbers into the equation and show the mathematical result,
• compare to industry/non-industry averages,
• calculate the ratios for the 3 most current years of the company,
• calculate the ratios for 2 top competitors for the most recent year,
• explain the condition of each of the ratios. (good, bad, and why)
Lastly, in your own words, give an overview of the financial health of the organization. Answer the question: “would you invest in this stock?”

Section Five – Problem Statement – 20 points.
Utilizing a mental map, draw a flowchart illustrating the key symptoms or problems, relationships between them, and the root or central problem(s). Accompany this with a brief narrative to explain.

Section Six – Alternative Solutions – 25 points.
List five solutions/objectives for fixing the central problem.
Label each solution by its strategy name (ex: horizontal integration).
List the pros and cons of each strategy. Your paper will not be accepted if you copy and paste this material directly from the internet.

The case topic should find a famous company.

The section two means External Factor Evaluation, and the section three means Internal Factor Evaluation. They both should be in Excel Format.

The section four Financial Analysis should be found in Yahoo Finance.
